Luxury Dog Boarding in Worcestershire, the alternative to kennels
A home from home experience
At Cotswold Dog Lodge dog boarding your loyal pet will be looked after in the comfort of our home, while you are away on holiday or business. Our aim is to provide a luxury home-from-home experience, ensuring your dog enjoys the the standards of care, love and attention he or she is accustomed to.
We provide an individual service tailored to suit your dog’s requirements. We adopt your dog’s current routine, so meal times etc. will be consistent with what he or she is used to. A refreshing alternative to kennels for owners who want their dogs to have a comfortable and enjoyable break whilst they too are enjoying their holidays.
Lots of walks, fun & play
Your dog will have free access to our large fully enclosed and secure garden and enjoy plenty of play and mind stimulating games and activities. We are surrounded by fantastic dog walking country and have our own 2 acre meadow, miles of footpaths to explore, woods to run through and streams to splash about in.
We walk our guests at least twice a day. It is important to adapt walks and activities to your dog’s individual requirements. If you have an elderly dog boarding with us, the ‘old fella or lady’ may prefer to have short, slower walks each day. On the other hand, a young more energetic dog can be taken out for an hour or two. Throughout the warmer months dogs who suffer in the heat are walked when it is cooler, early in the morning or late evening.
Peace of mind while you are away
For your peace of mind we can post pictures on facebook, text or email you to update you on your dog whilst you are away.
We request you visit us with your dog prior to making a decision about dog boarding with us. This is an informal meeting; you can view our facilities and we can answer any questions you may have. It also gives your dog the opportunity to meet us prior to his or her actual holiday and familiarise itself with our house and garden.
Proof of vaccinations is always required, and your dog will need to have been treated for fleas and worms. You will be asked to complete our registration form and to sign authority to walk your dog off lead, if you so wish, in order to comply with our Public liability Insurance policy.
To help your dog settle in we will ask you to provide their bed or bedding, food, lead, grooming brushes and favorite toy. We will issue your dog with one of our contact tags during their holiday.
